As an experienced Tax Operations officer, I have a broad and proven track record of success in both US and global tax withholding and reporting. In various positions I have worked with large custody clients, as well as with private bank and retail clients.  

In those roles I fostered partnerships across compliance, operations, technology, and product teams to establish and deliver scalable processes leveraging strategic infrastructure and intelligent automation solutions. I have led teams specializing in global custody tax reclaim processing involving more than 2 million tax documents and overseeing $49B in client tax reclaims annually. I am fluent with legislative tax changes affecting clients’ global tax exposure and modify plans and strategies accordingly, and also demonstrating functional and technical knowledge across multiple global markets to enable handling of client inquiries.

In tax operations roles I established a standardized framework for tax withholding and information reporting across Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) and Corporate Bank (CB) products.  These roles required supporting technical projects in global tax operations consistent with laws, regulations, and industry standards.  Additionally, I reviewed transactions and related documents to determine filing requirements, performed testing and assisted in oversight of various internal static data teams, and challenged existing processes and helped identify synergies across functions.

I am committed to defining and implementing best organizational practices, focusing on effective systems development and implementation using measurable outcomes measured against KPIs.
